Adeline Christina Tande, age 94, of Aneta, ND died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at her home in Aneta, surrounded by her family.
Adeline was born November 17, 1922 near Kloten, ND the daughter of August and Anna (Colson) Franson. She grew up and attended school in Kloten, ND, graduating in 1940. Adeline married Melvin Tande in 1943 at Moorhead, MN. After their marriage, they lived and farmed in rural Aneta, and moved to Aneta in 1980. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and entertaining family and friends. Adeline was a longtime member of Sundahl Lutheran Church.
Adeline is survived by 4 daughters; Kary (Roger) Hanson, Cooperstown, ND, Judith (Lyle) Gustafson, Aneta, ND, Gwendolyn (Naggie) Rao, Estes Park, CO, and Lori (Wallace) Borah, Roseau, MN; 4 sons; Marlyn (Becky) Tande, Loveland, CO, Craig (Jenny) Tande, West Fargo, ND, Steven (Margaret) Tande, Aneta, ND, formerly of Fairbanks, AK, and Landis Tande, Aneta, ND; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great granddaughters.
Adeline is preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin, grandsons Blake Borah and Tyler Tande.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sundahl Lutheran Church, Aneta, ND. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services in the church. Interment will be in Silent Hill Cemetery, Aneta, ND.
