Alice Mae Myers
July 25, 1941 — July 29, 2012
Alice Mae Myers, age 71, resident of rural Binford, ND passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Griggs County Care Center in Cooperstown.
Alice Mae was the second of eight children born on July 25, 1941 in rural Karnak, ND to Millard and Alice (Schenstad) Frigaard. She attended country school then Cooperstown High School, graduating in 1959. After school she worked for the Sentinel Courier. On April 7, 1961 she married Robert Myers. After their marriage the couple lived and farmed west of Cooperstown until Robert's death in 2004. Alice Mae enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She will be missed and remembered by her sons Michael (Wanda) Myers of Cooperstown and Bruce (Kelly) Myers of Hannaford; grandsons Dustin of Cooperstown and Jesse of Hannaford; granddaughter Amy (Dillon) Myers of Fargo; three sisters Judy (Jerry) Johnson, Lorraine (Bill) Briscoe and Carol (Mike) Schackelford; three brothers Marvin (Shirley) Frigaard, Harvey (Judy) Frigaard and Ron (Amy) Frigaard; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Kathy.
Memorial services for Alice Mae will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Cooperstown Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Michael Jacobson. Interment will be in the Cooperstown Cemetery.
