Annie Ramberg

Annie Ramberg, age 95, resident of Fargo , ND , formerly Edmore , ND died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in St. Mary's Hospital, Detroit Lakes , MN . Annie Odina Christianson was born May 5, 1913 at Northwood , ND the daughter of Carl and Julia (Grytdahl) Christianson. She was baptized at Northwood , ND . They lived in Moorhead , MN for a year before they moved to Edmore. Annie attended school in Prospect Township and was confirmed in St. Han's Church. She married George Ramberg September 21, 1930 at Fairdale , ND . They lived at Silver Creek , NE for two years and then moved to Edmore where her husband was employed at the Farmer's Union Oil Company for 9 years. They moved to the farm in 1942 where they lived until retirement in 1973. She was a past member of Concordia Lutheran Church , Living Word Free Lutheran Church and their ladies aid organizations as well as the Shamrock Homemakers. They moved to Fargo in 1985. Her husband George passed away January 7, 1998 . She is a member of St. Paul Free Lutheran Church in Fargo .

Surviving members of the family are four children; Jerry (Sonjia) of Fargo , ND , Brian (Sue) of Bismarck , ND , Joan (Don) McGillis of Detroit Lakes, MN and Georgia Robb of Grand Forks , ND ; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, husband George and brother Clifford.

Funeral services for Annie will be Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Living Word Free Lutheran Church in Edmore , ND . Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2008 starting at 5 PM in the Aaker Funeral Home at Lakota, ND with a prayer service at 7 PM and continue one hour prior to services in the church. Interment will be in the Edmore Cemetery . Arrangements with the Aaker Funeral Home.
