Anthony Siracusa

Anthony Joseph Siracusa, age 86, resident of McVille, ND passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Nelson County Health System - Care Center.
Anthony was born October 14, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Guiseppe and Lorea Siracusa. Anthony served in WWII with the Merchant Marines in 1942 till the conclusion of the war in 1945. He was awarded various medals for his role in combat during Operation Overlord at Omaha Beach Normandy on June 6, 1944. He also worked as the aide to the vice president of Japan Air Lines New York operations for over a decade before retiring.
Surviving members of the family are his children; Joseph Siracusa of New York, NY, Linda Siracusa of Middletown, NY, Kevin Siracusa of Grottoes, VA, Karen Siracusa of Larimore, ND, Kathy Siracusa of Cary, NC, Keith Siracusa of Aneta, ND, Anthony Siracusa of Cary, NC, Cara Locrem of Cary, NC and Kim Cleaver of Cary, NC; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his sister Laura D'Agostano of League City, TX.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Lucy Macarelli and Jesse Ledouceur.
