Borghild “Borgie” Bothen, 98, died Friday, January 16, 2015 at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.
Borghild Johanna (Sotvik) Bothen was born January 17, 1916 to Sigurd and Marie (Norjord) Sotvik in Field Township, Aneta, ND. Borghild married George Louis Bothen in 1938.
Borghild is survived by her children Maxine (Gary) Walter, Shirley Midstokke, Janice (Harold) Larson, Byron (Rahel) Bothen and Deborah (Jim) Schothorst; sister Marlys Antonopolis; sister-in-law Margaret Sotvik; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
Borghild was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Gerald; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, rural Kloten, ND with visitation an hour prior to services at the church. Spring interment will be in the Our Saviors Lutheran Church Cemetery.
