Clifford H. Omdal

Clifford H. Omdal, age 96, resident of Cooperstown, ND, formerly Binford, ND, died Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the Griggs County Care Center.
Clifford Omdal was born February 7, 1921 on the family farm north of McHenry, ND to Lars and Laura (Peterson) Omdal. He grew up and attended country school with his 5 siblings. He worked on various farms, including working in the potato fields. In 1953, when his parents moved into Fargo, he took over the family farmstead. On September 9, 1967 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Rockvoy. They farmed, raised cattle and had a love for horses. Evelyn passed away on June 10, 2010.
Clifford is survived by his sister, Florence Bruer, Sun City West, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; brother, Marvin Omdal; and sisters, Alma Overby, Lillian Overby, and Myrtle Overby.
The Funeral Service for Clifford will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in The Cooperstown Funeral Chapel, Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Cooperstown Funeral Chapel, and will continue one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in the Binford Cemetery.
