Corey A. Myhre

Corey A. Myhre, age 55, resident of Bismarck, ND, formerly of Edmore, ND, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at his home.

Corey was born January 19, 1967 in Langdon, ND, the son of Curtis and Karolyn (Sigvaldson) Myhre.  He was raised and educated in Edmore, ND, graduating from Edmore High School in 1985.  Corey had worked at several business before becoming a dedicated employee for many years at Menards in Bismarck, where he had worked until the time of his death.  He was very friendly and easy-going, and would do anything for you.  He will be missed by many.  Corey enjoyed music, flea markets, collecting toy tractors, guitars, oldies records and tapes.  His dream was to open a store in order to sell his collectibles.  He also enjoyed reminiscing about the past and the good old times.

Corey is survived by his father, Curtis Myhre and step-mother, Juana Myhre, both of Edmore, ND; brother, Terry (Darlene) Myhre of Devils Lake, ND; sister, Kathleen Myhre of South Jordan, UT; step-brother, Lance Hawkins of Minot, ND; step-sisters, Lisa Severson of Roseau, MN, Sherry Hawkins of Kentucky, and Angie Hawkins of Minneapolis, MN; and also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karolyn; 2 brothers, Brad and Kevin; and his grandparents, Clifford & Beatrice (Lee) Myhre and Ted & Josephine (Malmin) Sigvaldson.

The Memorial Service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church of Edmore, ND, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private at St. Hans Cemetery, rural Edmore.
