Danna Keitzman

Danna was born November 4, 1932 in Devils Lake, ND, the daughter of Ole and Helen (Davis) Moxness. She attended the Devils Lake school system. Danna married Robert Keitzman on December 15, 1950. They lived together on the family homestead for the remainder of their lives. Danna was employed at the dime store in Devils Lake, and also Cenex and SunLac in Lakota for many years. She enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, sewing, camping, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a very outgoing woman who spoke her mind. Her famous quote was "Don't ever start something you don't plan on doing the rest of your life."

Danna will be greatly missed by her daughters, Coral Rysavy and Marietta (Pat) Shipley, both of Lakota; son-in-law, Landis Bjornstad of Lake Wales, FL; brother, Frank Moxness of Atmore, AL; 6 grandchildren, Marty Shipley, Robert Bjornstad, Sabrina Bjornstad, Nikki Thompson, Krystyne Rysavy, and Natasha Rysavy; and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Kathy Bjornstad; son, Randy; and brother, John Moxness.

A Memorial Service for Danna will be held at Lakota Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Lakota Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and will continue at the church on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
