Delores Ann Risgaard, age 80, resident of Tolna , ND died on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta , ND .
Delores was born April 17, 1928 in Nelson County to Edgar and Tina (Hannestad) Burke. She grew up in the Tolna, ND area and graduated from McVille High School . She attended Valley City State Teachers College in Valley City , ND . She taught school at Hazen , ND and also at the Tolna Public School . She married Duane Risgaard on June 11, 1973 at Hunter, ND. They made their home in Tolna , ND and farmed in Forde Township . She was a member of St Joseph 's Catholic Church in Tolna and a member of the Tolna Legion Auxiliary.
Delores is survived by her husband Duane and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Jerome Burke, 2 sisters, Dorothy Flaagan and Joyce Halvorson.
Memorial services for Delores will be Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home at McVille , ND . Interment will be in the Tolna Cemetery .
