Donald K. Hodek, age 57, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in Akron, OH.
Don was born June 13, 1957 in Park River, ND. He was a sales representative for Makita Power Tools for 26 years. Don was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, enjoyed the outdoors, music, and had a lifelong love of learning. He served his county in the U.S.Army.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Brodal) of Medina, OH, to whom he was married 37 years; children, Melissa (Robert Bassett) Hodek of Westerville, OH, and Matthew Hodek of Lansing, MI; father, Donald G. Hodek of rural Brocket, ND; brothers, Kenny (Effie) of Dickinson, ND, Rick (Janine) of Grand Forks, ND, and Robert (Lori) of Thompson, ND; and grand-dog, Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche (Trenda) Hodek; sister, Diane; and sister-in-law, Pam.
A Graveside Service will be held at the WFLA-Kosobud Cemetery, rural Lankin, ND, on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. All family and friends are then invited to a reception in the banquet room at Season’s CafAC. in Lakota, ND.
