Edith T. Lovestrom

Edith T. Lovestrom, age 94, resident of Evanston, IL, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Edith T. Lillehaugen was born June 21, 1920 in Brocket, ND, the daughter of Michael and Marie (Moe) Lillehaugen. Edith grew up on a farm surrounded by a large, loving family. She attended Concordia College and Valley City Teachers College where she obtained a teaching certificate. While teaching 1st grade in Adams, ND, Edith met and married Earle Lovestrom. He died in 1989. Mrs. Lovestrom stayed home to raise her daughter. As she grew older, she went back to work as a substitute teacher. Edith had many interests with music her passion, she loved children, traveled to many exciting places, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Mrs. Lovestrom is survived by her daughter, Laurel Lovestrom; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara Marie Knoff of Grand Forks, ND; 2 brothers, MeRoy (Carol Jean) Lillehaugen of Golden Valley, MN and Michael (Kathie) Lillehaugen of Alexandria, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Lovestrom will be Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Aaker Funeral Home in Lakota, ND at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at West Forest Cemetery, rural Whitman, ND.
