Elizabeth (Lippert) Boostrom, 94, passed away on October 18, 2026 at St. Catherine South, Fargo, ND.

Elizabeth was born in McVille, ND on April 2, 1932, the daughter of Clarence and Mercedes (Suess) Lippert. At 4 years old, she and her sister, Shirley were raised by their grandma, Elizabeth (Bartholome) Lippert, when their mom passed away after giving birth to Shirley. After graduating high school, Elizabeth taught school for 2 years at a country school. She married Wallace Boostrom, a farmer in McVille and quit teaching. Together they had 3 children, Tim, Dan, and Peggy Ann. After Wallace passed away, Elizabeth worked with her son, Tim in McVille. She later moved to Grand Forks, ND, where she worked as a foster grandma for children at UND. For the last 5 years, Elizabeth lived at St. Catherine South in Fargo.

Elizabeth is survived by 2 sons, Tim and Dan (Priscilla); sister, Shirley Wadman; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace, daughter, Peggy Ann, and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aneta, ND with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Burial will be at the McVille Cemetery.
