Estelle Brennan, 97, of McVille, ND, formerly Tolna, ND, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Nelson County Health System-Care Center in McVille, ND.
Estelle was born February 28, 1915 in McVille, ND the daughter of Nels and Anna (Madson) Pederson. She grew up and graduated from McVille High School. Estelle married Alfred Brennan in September 1936. The couple farmed near Crary, ND for many years. They traveled throughout the U.S. and spent many winters in Phoenix, AZ. Al died December 3, 1986.
Estelle enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crocheting, reading and cheering on the Minnesota Twins.
Estelle is survived by several nieces and nephews and s sister-in-law Sylvia Halvorson.
Estelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred; 2 brothers, Iver and Elmer; 5 sisters, Alice, Emma, Ida, Dorothy and an infant sister.
Memorial Services for Estelle will be Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the McVille Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church. A spring interment will be in the McVille Cemetery.
