Gary Lilleoien

Gary Eugene Lilleoien, born December 8, 1963, the son of Nona Lilleoien Johnson and Raymond Lilleoien passed away at his home in Bangkok, Thailand on April 8, 2012.

Gary was a graduate of McVille High School in 1982. Leaving to attend universities in Minneapolis, MN he became a foreign exchange student to the university in Bangkok. Following his year as a foreign exchange student, Gary chose to return to Bangkok as an English teacher. He taught in High Schools, Elementary Schools, Private Schools and corporations. He enjoyed acting and had many roles in movies and commercials. Gary was fluent in 4 languages. He enjoyed seeing the world, especially the sandy beaches of Australia.

Gary is survived by his mother Nona Johnson of Brocket, ND; his father Raymond (Yvonne) Lilleoien of East Grand Forks, MN; sisters Jayne (Ron) Brown of Grafton, ND, Jeanette (Brian) Hatlestad of Phoenix, AZ, Ann Lilleoien of Lawton, ND and Jennifer (Mitch) Dosch of Eden, NC; nieces and nephews Paul Gillett, USAF in Japan, Bethany (Brett) Narveson of Grafton, ND, Dane Gillett and Sarah Gillett both of Grafton, ND, Jessica (Jesse) Mollica of Oklahoma, Zach Hatlestad of Phoenix, AZ and Madison Lilleoien of Eden, NC; aunt Nelen (O'Neil) Rainsberry of Lakota, ND and many cousins.

Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Clara Lilleoien and John and Mathilda Patron.

Memorial Services for Gary will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Center Lutheran Church, rural McVille, ND. Interment will be in the Center Church Cemetery.
