In 1954 Inez returned to the Binford State Bank and worked her way up to bank manager in the 35+ years she enjoyed her job. After retiring from the bank Inez worked various jobs in the local area such as: home health worker, potato picker, flag woman on road construction (her favorite as Inez enjoyed people so much), and the restaurant at Red Willow Resort. Inez loved to do ceramics and made lovely pieces for her family and friends. She also participated in Binford Commercial Club, served on the Binford School Board, member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Choir and Ladies Aid.

Inez was best known by her family and friends as a positive, outgoing, loving woman who will be missed. Her natural effervescence was best expressed through her love of people and singing.
