Jason Michael Hoffman
March 13, 1973 — April 1, 2025
Jason Michael Hoffman, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away April 1, 2025. Jason was the 4th of 6 children born to Raymond and Dianne (Schmit) Hoffman on March 13, 1973, and was a life-long resident of Tolna. He was a physically gifted child with an adventurous spirit that resulted in some close calls, the most serious when he was hit by a pickup while riding his bike at age 8. This life-altering accident left permanent marks and caused chronic pain in recent years.
Jason (Ace) was a hard worker, a good friend, a loving son, brother and uncle. He cared for others deeply and was generous with his time and resources and had the biggest heart. After graduating from Tolna High School in 1991, he worked on the Gillett Farm. He worked various jobs, such as working the ski slopes in Colorado for a few winters and most recently for several years at Tronson Grain in Tolna. Jason made many memories with his dad, family & friends while hunting and fishing. He was an avid Vikings fan and followed local sports teams, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He adored his nieces and nephews, and they adored him.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Dianne Hoffman, nephew Brennan Ehlers, as well as his grandparents, and some of his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Lisa (Kevon) Gillett, Lori (Ross) Henningsgard, John (Alison) Hoffman, Lyndi (Aaron) Ehlers, Jess (Jessica) Hoffman; his nieces and nephews: Jenna (Reid) Haagenson, Dylan Gillett, Ethan Gillett, Jessica (Ty) Ackerman, Taylor (Eryn) Henningsgard, Kennedy Henningsgard, Kyle Henningsgard, Carson (Abby) Henningsgard, Joren (Madison) Hoffman, Lauralyn Hoffman, Nolan Hoffman, Dalton (Anna) Ehlers, Riley (Angie) Ehlers, Breck (Rachel) Ehlers, Danica Ehlers, Brienna Ehlers, Madison Pfaff, William Hoffman, Gavin Hoffman; and his grandnieces/nephews: Oaklyn and Benson Haagenson, Laynie Ackerman, River and Owen Henningsgard, Cecilia and Brennan Oliver Ehlers, Henley Ehlers; and his many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tolna, ND.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Saturday, at the church.
