Jon Hildre

Jon Hildre, age 76, resident of Fargo, ND passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Elim Care Center in Fargo, ND.
Jon was born September 28, 1940 in Mandan, ND the son of H. W. “Bo” and Edith (Hicks) Hildre. He grew up and went to school in Cooperstown, graduating from Cooperstown High School. Jon attended college in Valley City, ND and Phoenix, AZ. He returned home to work in the family business, Hildre Implement. He was active in the community, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he taught Sunday school. Jon loved to read and working on computers. In 1995 he moved to Fargo where he held various jobs.
Surviving members of the family are his sister Diane (Gary) Cowdrey of Cooperstown, ND, his nephew Corey (Jennifer Farris) Cowdrey and their children Hunter, Chase and Ashley, all of Fargo, ND.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services for Jon will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Cooperstown Cemetery.
