Larry A. Bosh, age 61, resident of rural Lawton, ND, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Larry Alan Bosh was born November 12, 1947 at Devils Lake, ND, the son of Leonard and Violet (Miller) Bosh. He was raised on his family farm near Lawton, attended Sauter Township School, and graduated from Lakota High School in 1965. Larry married Alice Ann Bagne on January 28, 1967 in Lakota, ND. They lived in Fargo for a year before returning to Larry's childhood home to operate the family farmstead. Larry and Alice raised their family and farmed together over the years. Larry also worked for, and eventually became co-owner of, NET Computers in Devils Lake, ND. Most recently, Larry worked as a trainer and support specialist for Rural Community Insurance Services. Alice died on August 2, 2007.

Larry was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his fiancAC.e, Patty Smith of Lindstrom, MN; his 3 children, Teresa (Ken) Denman of Grand Forks, ND, Michael (Pam) Bosh of Minot, ND, and Christopher Bosh of Grand Forks, ND; 7 grandchildren, Mandi, Joey, Josh, Emily, Noah, Eli, and Libby; 1 sister, Elaine (Dennis) Lovcik of Pisek, ND; 1 brother, Danny Bosh of Cavalier, ND; his sister-in-law, Mary Bagne of Lakota, ND; his mother-in-law, Doris Bagne of Lakota; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice; and brother-in-law, Malcolm Bagne.

The Memorial Service for Larry will be held at Lakota Lutheran Church, Lakota, ND, on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Reverend Joel Westby. The organist will be Karen Fowler and special music will be provided by Michael & Rebecca Raber. Interment will be in the Lakota Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Aaker Funeral Home of Lakota on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m.
