Marlo Rogness

Marlo G. Rogness, age 75, resident of McVille, ND passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Nelson County Health System - Care Center in McVille.

Marlo was born March 13, 1940 in McVille, ND the son of Peder and Olive (Moldahl) Rogness. He grew up and attended school in the Pekin, ND area, graduating from Pekin High School in 1958. After school he worked for area farmers before being drafted into the United States Army. Upon his discharge Marlo started working on the Richard Morken Farm where he worked for 30 years. Marlo served as custodian for many years in the Pekin Lutheran Church. He was a lifetime baseball fan, enthusiastic deer hunter, and was well known for his lighthearted temperament.

Marlo is survived by his son Chris Rogness of El Paso, TX, step-son Craig Cooper of Michigan, ND, 4 grandchildren Auden, Mathias, Willa and Catherine and sister Susan (Ervin) Hultgren of Warwick, ND.

Marlo was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kathy, brothers Larry and David.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the Pekin Lutheran Church, Pekin, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church. Interment will be in the Pekin Cemetery.
