Marlyn Strand
July 13, 1936 — July 24, 2011
Marlyn was born July 13, 1936 at rural Lawton, ND, the son of Andrew and Hazel (Viger) Strand. He was raised and educated in the area. He attended the Edmore High School and the ND School for the Blind at Bathgate, ND. He farmed his entire life with his parents in the Edmore area. Marlyn moved to the Edmore Memorial Rest Home on June 6, 2002. He loved to spend afternoons at the farm during the summer months.
Marlyn is survived by several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Funeral Service for Marlyn will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, Edmore, ND, on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Edmore Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
