Marvel Oakley, age 99, resident of Cooperstown, ND passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Cooperstown Medical Center.
Marvel was born December 30, 1915 the daughter of George and Hazel (Proctor) Strating.
Marvel will be remembered by her children; Janice Culkins, David "Terry" (Barbara Anne) Oakley, Rodney (Anne) Oakley and Barbara (Gary) Robertson along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred and brother Don Strating.
Memorial services for Marvel will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cooperstown Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel. Interment will be in the Cooperstown Cemetery. Arrangements with the Cooperstown Funeral Chapel.
