Marvin Nygaard

Marvin Nygaard, 85, of Mesa, Arizona formerly of Beaverton, Oregon passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
Marvin was born June 11, 1928 in McVille, North Dakota to Julia and Adolf Nygaard. Marvin married Joan Hovel June 10, 1951 in Pekin, North Dakota. Marvin worked in groceries, last at Strohecker's in Portland, Oregon, retiring to Arizona in 1992. Marvin's hobby was music, playing in dance bands all his life.
Marvin is survived by his wife Joan, three nieces and four nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at McVille Cemetery, McVille, ND.
