Mary Jane Capp

Mary Jane Capp, age 72, resident of Park River, ND, died Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society in Park River, ND.

Mary Jane was born September 16, 1942 in Cleveland Township of Walsh County, ND, the daughter of Stanley and Anna (Beneda) Capp. She was raised in the area and attended country school near Lankin, ND. She lived on the family farm for many years until moving to Larimore, then Grafton for a short time before moving to Good Samaritan Society Sunrise Estates at Park River in 2001. She enjoyed all the activities, time visiting, playing bingo, and making bead jewelry.

She is survived by 3 brothers, Raymond (Ann Marie) of Grafton, ND, Gene of Marshall, MN, and John of Lankin; sister, Joanie Sather of Larimore, ND; sister-in-law, Evie Capp of Grafton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; baby sister, Elsie Ann; brother, Ron Capp; brother-in-law, Duane Sather Sr.; sister-in-law, Janie Capp; and 2 nephews, Bradley Capp and Duane Sather Jr. “Skip”.

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lankin, ND, on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Prasad Marneni. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lankin. The casketbearers will be Brian Capp, Jeff Capp, Patrick Capp, Kyle Sather, Steve Sather, and Bobby Sather. Visitation will be held at the Church on Friday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Good Samaritan Society of Park River, Altru Hospice, or St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery at Lankin.
