Norman Clarence Severson
July 26, 1932 — June 2, 2025
Norman Clarence Severson, 92, Petersburg, ND, passed away at his home on June 2, 2025.
Norman was born on July 26, 1932 to Einar and Kari (Rusten) Severson, the youngest of 7 children. He was raised in Adler Township and graduated from Petersburg High School in 1951. Norman served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 when he was Honorably Discharged.
Norman worked farm labor for the Wixo farm, and construction for Swede Johnson Construction. He enjoyed gardening and sharing the produce from his garden. He loved watching Minnesota Twins baseball and Minnesota Timberwolves basketball. He was a lifetime member of the John Larson American Legion Post 247 and Petersburg Lutheran Church.

Norman is survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, Leonard and Vernon; sisters, Ann, June and Clara; and one niece, Cheryl Kremer.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Petersburg Lutheran Church, Petersburg, ND, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Petersburg Cemetery.
