Ralph “Terry” Imler, age 60, of Aneta, ND died February 25, 2017 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Terry was born January 9, 1957 in Burbank, CA the son of Ralph and Almyta (Henry) Imler. Terry married Barbara “June” Harper on August 25, 2012. The couple made their home in Aneta, ND.

Terry loved the outdoors, and any motor sport that would take him there. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association for many years, and had the opportunity to race his own dragster in the national try-outs. He also had a passion for drag boats; many of which he owned. He enjoyed spending his time camping and boating through the warm weather season with his family.

Terry loved the Seattle Seahawks, and would converse with his friends Dale and Bev from Oregon through most Seahawks football games. He also enjoyed playing “Zombie” with his grandsons Jackson and Christopher for hours on end. Nerf guns were a staple at grandpa’s house. Another one of Terry’s greatest joys was pulling his daughter on the innertube with his boat. They both looked forward to it every year.

Terry is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife June of Aneta, ND; daughter Crystal Imler of Aneta, ND; grandsons Jackson Taylor and Christopher Aasen; and siblings Linda (Todd) Hendrick of WA, Don Imler of WA, Rose Rooen of McVille, ND, and Brenda McCollum of McVille, ND.
