Rita Stovall
August 29, 1923 — December 13, 2013
Rita Alice Nablo was born August 29, 1923 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Vernon and Alice (Wade) Nablo. Shortly after the close of World War II, she moved to San Diego, CA, and met her husband, J.T. Stovall. They married on April 16, 1948 and made their home in the community of National City, CA. After J.T.'s death, she moved to Lakota, ND to be with her daughter and grandchildren. She loved to laugh, visit, and be with family.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Curt) Kadrmas of Lakota, ND; her son, Dennis (Linda) Stovall of El Cajon, CA; her grandsons, Joshua Kadrmas of Barnesville, MN, Jacob (Tina) Kadrmas of Andover, MN, and Jesse Kadrmas of Lakota, ND; her granddaughter, Shirley (Will) Keys of Belvoir, VA; and 9 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Xavier, Dylan, Tanner, Hunter, Preslee, Leah, Brady, and LilyAnn. Her laughter will be sorely missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. and her grandson, Dennis Jr.
The Memorial Service for Rita will be held at Lakota Lutheran Church on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Thea Monson. Burial will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in San Diego, CA.
