Rosemary E. Voss, 92, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, ND. She was born to George and Ida (Krause) Meyer on February 23, 1925, in rural Richland County, North Dakota.
Rosemary attended rural Richland county schools and worked at Wahpeton Science School during World War II. She met her future husband Bob Voss after the war, and they were married at St. John’s Church in Wahpeton, ND, on June 3, 1947. Rosemary spent most of her life as a homemaker taking care of her children. She also worked a few years at the Gronna Home as well as giving childcare to three little girls. She and Bob bought a cabin on West McDonald Lake in Minnesota, where they enjoyed many years of fishing and relaxing. Some of her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, reading, playing Bingo, and embroidering. During the last year of her life, one of her greatest joys was adult coloring and giving those very special works of art to family and friends.
