Rudolph Sandeen

Rudolph Hans "Rudy" Sandeen, 63, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Aneta, ND, died suddenly on March 10, 2013 in his home in Fargo.
Rudy was born June 16, 1949, son of Vernor and Ruth (Johnson) Sandeen at Northwood, ND. He grew up in Aneta and graduated high school there. On December 27, 1980 he was united in marriage to Bonnie DeHart-Vrem at Sundahl Lutheran Church in Aneta. After their marriage, they resided in Aneta for 22 years where he was in Environmental Services at Aneta Public School. Later, they moved to Mayville, ND where he continued his profession at Mayville State College and eventually moved to Fargo where he retired from NDSU in 2010.
Rudy is survived by his wife Bonnie; 4 children, Stacey (Diane) Vrem, Srena (Brad) Laddusaw, Shane (Beth) Vrem, Shelby (Sarah) Vrem; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Edna DeHart; 3 sisters, Beverly Suby, Gloria (Raymond) Pecka, Elsie (Richard) Davidson; brother, Jerry Smaaladen, and several nieces and nephews.
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; brother LaVerne; grandparents; grandson Joseph Vrem; and niece Lisa Suby.
Funeral Services for Rudy will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 3pm at Sundahl Lutheran Church, Aneta, ND. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 1 to 3pm in the church. Spring interment will be in Sheyenne Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Pekin, ND.
