Selma Kadry

Selma Kadry, 95, formerly of Binford, ND, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Griggs County Care Center in Cooperstown, ND.
Selma was born March 27, 1917, at Crystal Springs, ND, to Albert and Frieda (Hust) Hadey. She grew up and attended school at Ross, ND.
On November 23, 1933, she married Abdo M Kadry at Valley City, ND. They made their home in Pillsbury, ND, until 1935 when they purchased a farm near Sutton, ND. In 1947, they began farming near Binford, ND, where she lived until moving into Binford in 1996. In August, 2012, she moved to the Griggs County Care Center.
She is survived by her children; Evelyn Willis of Cooperstown, ND; Shirley Foien of Spokane, WA; Delores (Dale Suran) Rodman, Scottsdale, AZ; Richard (Clarice) Kadry, West Fargo, ND; Irene Kadry, Coon Rapids, MN; Peggy (Dean) Somerville, Binford, ND; Rita (Steve) Glunberg, Fargo, ND. There were 18 grandchildren with 16 surviving and 28 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter; Sally Borseth, two sisters; Sara Anderson and Ida Eli, three sons-in-law; Don Willis, Bruce Rodman and Clair Foien.
Funeral services for Selma will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 1:30 PM in the Cooperstown Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Skaar. Special music will be Pastor Brian & Bev Skaar. Interment will be in the spring at Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery, Binford, ND.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Griggs County Care Center.
