Stephan Arlien

Stephan Arlien, age 70, resident of Aneta, ND died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Stephan was born July 3, 1942 in McVille, ND the son of Alf and Edith (Carlson) Arlien. He grew up and attended country school near Pekin, ND. Stephan married Glenna Fuglem March 6, 1965 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aneta. Stephan worked for the Farmers Union in Aneta, grain elevator construction, Melroe in Cooperstown, ND, and farmed with Art Matson for 23 years.
Stephan enjoyed fishing and hunting, and especially hunting prairie dogs with Art and Shane. He also enjoyed tinkering with guns and making them more accurate.
Stephan is survived by his wife Glenna; son Shane Arlien; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stephan was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Mary Lou and Rita.
Memorial Services for Stephan will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2 PM in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aneta, ND.
